Ron Richard, Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining SeQual Technologies Inc. in 2007, Mr. Richard held the positions of VP of Marketing and Sr VP of Strategic Marketing at ResMed Corp, a $700 million manufacturer of sleep disordered breathing products. His insights and management skills helped to grow sales for the company at over 25% per year over the 7 year span. Prior to that Mr. Richard was the VP of Global Marketing for Thermo Respiratory Group which is now known as Viasys, a leading manufacturer of ventilators, sleep diagnostic systems, and pulmonary function technology. Mr. Richard has over 30 years experience in the healthcare industry and has worked as a clinician in respiratory care, sales, product development and strategic planning. Mr. Richard prior to joining Thermo Respiratory Group was an investor and owner of Total Sleep Diagnostics which consisted of multiple sleep diagnostic offices located in major metro areas around the country. This company sold in 2005 for over $40 million and is today one of the largest free standing chains of sleep centers in the world. Mr. Richard sits on the board of directors for the American Association of Homecare, and has been awarded Home Caring Person of the Year by Medtrade and Home Care Magazine. He is a published author on multiple topics in healthcare in several peer reviewed journals and is actively supporting patient advocacy groups to improve the outcomes and health benefits for patients suffering from chronic conditions such as COPD, sleep apnea, and degenerative neuromuscular disease. He has been active in several other associations helping with standards, health care finance issues, reimbursement and strategic planning such as NAMDRC, ACCP, AARC and ASAA. Mr. Richard holds multiple patents on devices in the sleep and respiratory care sectors and has been responsible for the development and sales of the many products sold by Puritan Bennett, Viasys, ResMed and other smaller manufacturers. Mr. Richard graduated from Baker University near Kansas City with a Bachelor in Business Administration and technical degrees as a clinician. |

Kevin Morse, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Morse serves as SeQual’s CFO and is responsible for directing the company’s financing activities as well as working directly with other members of management to develop financial forecasts. Mr. Morse is a Certified Public Accountant who has served in various finance capacities for high-growth companies. His experience includes serving as a CFO of Abtech Systems, a Hewlett Packard Equipment reseller, where he managed the growth of the company from $6 million to $60 million in sales. He has also served as controller for several companies, including Cox Communications and Mail Boxes, Etc. Don Miller, Senior Vice President, Founder, Director
Mr. Miller is a SeQual founder and served as the company’s first chief financial officer. He works closely with Jim Bixby in corporate strategy and planning as well as strategic development and negotiation. He also manages the compensation program and other high-level human resource-related activities, works with the CFO in planning and forecasting, and assists with securing funded R&D programs. Mr. Miller has been an early-stage investor, board member, and/or CFO with a number of startups, including Interactive Simulations, Azron, Inc., Biosym and La Jolla Technology. |

Joe Calabro, Vice President, Operations
Mr. Calabro is responsible for the Operations and Quality Assurance functions. His primary focus is on leading these functions in executing SeQual’s business plan, in terms of achieving SeQual’s current product order fulfillment, and taking the lead in managing the company’s relationships with Tatung and with the Taiwan joint venture. Mr. Calabro comes to SeQual with 29 years of industry experience, including 24 years of healthcare and medical device industry experience with Hewlett Packard, Puritan Bennett, and Pyxis, where he held various executive positions in manufacturing, quality and engineering management. He has technical and management degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic and Boston University, and he holds a number of patents in the field of healthcare devices. |

Robert Cram, Vice President, Development Engineering
Mr. Cram directs all new product development and sustaining engineering at SeQual. He has extensive experience in managing product development in a wide range of advanced mechanical, electronic and optical systems. Prior to SeQual, Mr. Cram served as VP of Engineering of Veeco Instruments and as a senior staff engineer at Western Research/ ThermoTrex Corporation. He has also consulted with a number of companies in a wide range of engineering projects. Mr. Cram holds BS and MS degrees in engineering, has taught at UCSD in microcomputer and digital design, and has published papers on imaging and remote vehicle systems. He also has obtained three patents in optical and acoustic imaging. |

Bob Schneider, Vice President, Business Development, Founder
Mr. Schneider, a SeQual founder, directs SeQual’s new business development activities. He is responsible for expanding the company’s customer base and identifying new markets for application of the company’s technology. Mr. Schneider has significant technology start-up experience as a co-founder and vice president of several companies including Spin Physics, a manufacturer of high-technology magnetic recording heads and systems that was sold to Kodak Corporation, and La Jolla Technology, a manufacturer of electronic medical devices, which was sold to Medtronic. |

John. Abernethy, Director
Mr. Abernethy is a Managing Director and Founder of Dunrath Capital, a Chicago-based private equity and advisory firm that is focused on companies operating in the fields of safety, security and healthcare. He brings over twenty years of operating and financial experience. Previously, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for two publicly-traded companies. Jim Bixby, Director
Mr. Bixby has been associated with SeQual Technologies since 1998 as an early investor, board member and most recently SeQual’s CEO. Prior to joining SeQual, Bixby served as Vice President of Business Development for Rockwell Semiconductor Systems (now Conexant) in
Rod Dammeyer, Director
Mr. Dammeyer is president of CAC, LLC, in La Jolla, California, a private company offering capital investment and management advisory services. His firm orchestrated the February 2006 round of investment in SeQual Technologies. He also serves as a member of The Scripps Research Institute Board of Trustees. He has more than 40 years of experience in corporate investing and financial management.
Tracy Marshbanks Ph.D., Director
Tracy Marshbanks is a managing director coordinating investment and research in the chemistry-enabled sector. Prior to joining First Analysis in 1999, he performed economic and strategic analysis of retail facility placement, acquisition, and divestment for Amoco Corp. Earlier, he worked in refining capital planning and as a research engineer at Amoco. He earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Colorado State University.
Vernon R. Pertelle MBA RRT, Director
Mr. Pertelle is widely recognized as a leader in the home medical equipment industry. He has more than 23 years experience as a clinician and senior healthcare executive across the continuum of care, government relations, physician relations and with large payers. He currently is a hospital administrator for Tri-City Healthcare District in North San Diego County and prior to that served as corporate director of respiratory & HME services at Apria Healthcare and was formerly with the nation's largest integrated health maintenance organization Kaiser Permanente as benefit administrator for durable medical equipment, prosthetics and orthotics and as a senior consultant for evidence-based technology assessment and clinical practice guidelines for the Permanente Medical Group. He is a published author with more than 80 articles, journals, abstracts and contributions on healthcare including two books. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of HME Today and in addition served on the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association of California, National Home Oxygen Patients Association and has been an expert panelist on Respiratory Services for the Program Advisory & Oversight Committee (PAOC) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). He joined the SeQual Board of Directors in March 2006.
Raj Rai, Director
Mr. Rai has 15 years of healthcare services background. Most recently, he was the President and CEO of Option Care Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTN) a leading pharmacy services provider of home infusion therapies and specialty pharmaceuticals. During his tenure with Option Care Inc., Mr. Rai was instrumental in the rapid expansion and growth of the company. The company was acquired by Walgreens Co. in 2007. Mr. Rai currently serves on the board of directors of Salient Business Solutions.
Ryan L. Schuler, Director
Ryan Schuler joined AHV from the investment banking division at A.G. Edwards & Sons, where he served as an analyst in the firm's M&A group and previously as a real estate analyst in its corporate finance group. Prior to his tenure at A.G. Edwards, Mr. Schuler was an associate in PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Schuler is a board observer at several AHV portfolio companies. Mr. Schuler holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Christian Brothers University and an MBA from The Olin School of Business at Washington University.
F. Duwaine Townsen, Director
During the past twenty-five years, Mr. Townsen has served on the boards of directors for ten publicly held companies, seven in
